Important notes for 14th September
- The tutorial will be held in Aula Magna di Ingegneria, but the opening and afternoon sessions will take place in Sala Piersanti Mattarella (Sala Gialla) and Sala Pio La Torre (Sala Rossa) at Palazzo dei Normanni, which is just a 15-minute walk from the main venue.
- Registrations will be open in the morning at Aula Magna, and after lunch at Palazzo dei Normanni.
- A formal dresscode (shirt and long trousers) is required in Palazzo dei Normanni:
t-shirts, shorts or flip flops are not allowed. - The welcome drink will be held in the porch of Palazzo dei Normanni.
Get to the venue
The campus is located just a 15 min walk to the historic city center and can be easily reached by metro to the Palermo Palazzo Reale-Orleans station (directly connected to Palermo Airport), or by local bus (N. 104, 108, 110, 118) to via Ernesto Basile or Piazza Indipendenza. The historic city center of Palermo is the largest one in Europe: if you booked an hotel in the city center, you can consider to have a walk to reach the campus or use the free shuttle bus which connects different areas in the city center and stops at Piazza Indipendenza.

Food & Drinks
Lunches are not included in the CLiC-it 2026 fee, but it is a special opportunity to taste local sicilian food. Visit local bars inside the campus, or have a walk to Via Ernesto Basile or in Piazza Indipendenza, and search for local street food, as arancina (be aware, here is female!), spitino, pane ca’ meusa, pane panelle e crocché, sfincione, and more!
