The Italian Association of Computational Linguistics (AILC) confers the Emanuele Pianta Prize to recognize excellence in student research and to promote awareness of Computational Linguistics.
The prize is awarded to the best Master’s thesis (Laurea Magistrale) in Computational Linguistics:
- submitted at an Italian university;
- supervised by an AILC member;
- discussed by the application deadline.
The prize consists of 500 Euros, free AILC membership for one year, and free registration to CLiC-it 2026, which will take place in Palermo from 14 to 16 September 2026.
Applications for the extended deadline should be sent directly by email to: clicit2026@unipa.it
The application email should include the thesis and the recommendation letter.
