Welcome Drink
Palazzo dei Normanni is the Royal Palace of Palermo, and hosts the Cappella Palatina. Since 1947, Palazzo dei Normanni is also the seat of the Sicilian Regional Parliament (ARS) whose historic origins trace back to 1097 when the Parliament of the Kingdom of Sicily was established. This makes the Parliament one of the most ancient ones in Europe. After the opening and afternoon sessions in ARS’s halls, the Welcome Drink will take place in the internal courtyard of the Palace from 18:30 to 20:00.
